CNR Brake Systems are the highest quality brakes, brake pads, brake rotors, and kits!Each brake will greatly enchance the performance of your vehicle.
The CNR Sport discs are premium OEM replacement units that meet or exceed all vehicle manufacturers’ specifications and tolerances. They are fully compatible with stock calipers wheels and other chassis components, easily mounting onto the vehicle. The brake discs are built in high carbon ductile iron and they are available either drilled or slotted. The brake discs are then plated for corrosion resistance and for a bold, aggressive appearance.
As a most experienced sports brake manufacture in China, all of our products have been put under extreme torture test, and for specification tests using an on - board data processing system. By utilizing this systematic production process, The prototypes are fitted onto actual car to check for proper fittings and performance,so CNR’s brakes can achieve a high quality product at a reasonable price.

CNR rotors are made of ductile iron to offer a better friction surface and better heat dissipation.
The typical chemical analysis of ductile iron casting contain, Carbon 3.3 to 3.8%, Silicon 2.2 to 2.8%, Manganese 0.1 to 0.5%, Sulfur 0.005 to 0.02%, Phosphorus 0.005 to 0.04%, Magnesium 0.03 to 0.05%, balance (i.e., 100% minus the above elements) is the element iron. The unique characteris of ductile iron casting is that the graphite forms into a spherical shape.

The physics of Braking systems :
While the rotor serves as the primary heat sink in the braking system, it is the functional responsibility of the rotor to generate a retarding torque as a function of the brake pad frictional force. This torque is related to the brake pad frictional force as follow:

* where Tr=the torque generated by the rotor
* where Reff=the effective radius (effective moment arm) of the rotor (measured from the rotor center of rotation to the center of pressure of the caliper pistons)

Because the rotor is mechanically coupled to the hub and wheel assembly, and because the tire is assumed to be rigidly attached to the wheel, the torque will be constant throughout the entire rotating assembly as follows:

* where Tt=the torque found in the tire
* where Tw=the torque found in the wheel

Note that this relationship assumes 100% mechanical efficiency of all components at the wheel end. In practical application, mechanical deflection and relative motion between the rotating components prevents this condition.

Floating rotor

CNR 2-piece rotors use lightweight aluminum hats connected to iron rotors (also called "friction rings") by a combination of hardware which allows them to
"float" and expand freely. Thus, they are known as "floating rotors."

the hardware passes through oval slots in the rotor rather than circular holes. Since iron and aluminum expand at different rates, the slots allow the hardware to slide and the rotor to expand and contract, unconstrained by the aluminum hat. This system greatly reduces the stress on the rotors at high temperatures and extends their life.

Fasteners kits

In order to eliminate noise what is caused by loose of attaching hardware ,CNR make the McLaren anti-rattle springs and spacers On every hole location.
